Young artists explore the natural world through observation, art-making, and hands-on discovery. Using a fine arts approach, students may investigate plants, animals, patterns, textures, and natural forms through drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Projects encourage close observation, creative experimentation, and curiosity while making meaningful connections between art, nature, and science. (Ages 5-10)

Young artists experiment with color mixing, brushwork, and composition to create beautiful paintings. Each class encourages creativity and self-expression while teaching foundational art techniques. (Ages 8-12)

A creative after-school class for young artists who love to make, experiment, and try new things! Students will explore a rotating mix of art materials, techniques, and creative challenges, which may include drawing, painting, collage, fiber arts, and more. Projects will vary throughout the session, giving students plenty of opportunities to build skills, follow their imaginations. (Ages 5-10)

Design an original game board and original cards from scratch! Artists will first plan game mechanics, and then integrate spinners, cards, and/or game pieces, to build a playable work of art with a unified theme. Creativity continues to flow as artists also create a set of cards in a style of their choosing - trading cards, game cards, etc. (Ages 10-14)

Learn the art of handmade books through folding, binding, and collage techniques. Experiment with structure and sequence as you design accordion books, zines, and tunnel forms. Combine craftsmanship and creativity to produce one-of-a-kind works of art that tell a story through both form and content. (Ages 5-10)
