Open Studio
with Emma Cowan
Ages: 6 - 11
Our Open Studio is a relaxed, creative space where children are free to explore, experiment, and create at their own pace in a safe, welcoming art studio environment. Parents may drop off their child knowing they are being guided by an experienced art educator.
During Open Studio, children choose from a thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality art materials—such as drawing tools, paint, collage materials, and sculptural media—along with art books and creative toys that spark ideas and imagination. Rather than following a single project, students are encouraged to follow their interests, try new techniques, and build confidence through self-directed creation.
An experienced art teacher is always present to offer guidance, demonstrations, encouragement, and structure when needed, ensuring that each child feels supported while maintaining the freedom that makes Open Studio special. This program is ideal for curious, creative kids who thrive with choice, independence, and artistic exploration.
All materials included. No prior art experience necessary.
